Asian Turkey Meatballs

Meatballs are super easy to prepare and always a winner with the kids. Depending on the flavors and herbs you add these can go a long way. Here, with the ginger, sesame oil and tamari it gives a nice nutty and spicy flavor!
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a fork. Make sure not to squish the meat too much otherwise it is going to be too dense and dry.
Use a small ice cream scooper to shape the meatballs ( it helps having them all at the same size).
Cook them in a pan with 1-2 tbsp of avocado oil. Brown for 2-3 minutes on one side, flip and after 1 more minute cover them with a lid and let them steam for an additional 2-3 minutes ( so they can be nicely cooked through without drying out).
Serve with rice, greens beans, edamame, brocoli,....
These freeze nicely and also make a great school lunch the next day!
