Lemon Basil Pasta

I like making pasta once in a while, even though I try to stay clear of carbs as much as possible, I have 4 people here who do not have to do that and enjoy pasta... So, here we go with this fresh and springy recipe!
Cook the pasta according to package instruction.
Sauté the shallot with the olive oil for a few minutes until fragrant. Add the stock, the cream, the cheese and also 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp of pepper.
Place the lemon juice and zest in a large bowl, add the pasta when cooked and the sauce and toss it all nicely together. Sprinkle the basil leaves on top and add some fresh pepper.
Serve with some fresh grated parmesan on the side.
