These are packed with so many nutrients and taste so good that they will become your family's favorites!!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil ( room temperature) or butter works as well
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of almond flour
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat the oven at 350F.

 

In a large bowl combine the coconut oil, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Using a hand mixer, whisk it all together for a few minutes. You will still see bits and pieces of the coconut oil and that is totally normal.

Using a wooden spoon add in the rest of the ingredients folding nicely. Transfer to the fridge for 15 minutes so it will be easier to scoop the batter.

Using an ice cream scooper, place the dough balls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Let them cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes and enjoy!!!
