If you like almond and chocolate, these cookies are going to blow your mind!!! I find them super original and absolutely divine!!

  • 1 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1/3 cup of almond milk
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cups of sliced almonds (plus a bit to sprinkle on top)
  • 3/4 cup of coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2tbsp of almond butter
  • 1/4tsp of almond extract
  • 1tsp of baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Flaky salt to sprinkle on top

Preheat the oven at 325F.

Combine the flour with baking powder and salt. Toss it with the sugar and almonds. Add in the milk, egg and melted coconut oil and mix with a spoon. Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir until combined.

Place the dough in the fridge so it sets a bit and will be easier to shape. Using an ice cream scooper form the cookie balls on a lined up baking sheet. Flatten them with a fork, sprinkle some almond and some salt and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Leave them to cool and a cooling rack  for 10-15 minutes ( if you can wait... I can never and always end up burning myself because it smells so good and I have to have a bite) and enjoy!!!
