These are a perfect snack or even breakfast for my kids. Loaded with warm apples and cinnamon, they usually devoure these really fast!


  • 1 cup of wholewheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 apple peeled and cored
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup
  • Toppings : walnuts, pecans, almonds,....


Prepare the crepes batter by blending the flour, milk, eggs and salt together.

Meanwhile cut the apple in small cubes, put in a pot with the orange juice, the cinnamon and the maple syrup and cook gently for 10-15 minutes.

Cook the crepes by pouring 1/4 cup of the batter in a 9 inch pan. Let it cook on one side for a few minutes and flip over for a few more minutes. Repeat with the rest of the batter.

Assemble by folding the crepe in a triangle shape on a plate and pour some warm apple sauce on top. Sprinkle with more maple syrup if necessary and sprinkle some nuts on top.
