I love kale so much, every shape, every kind, every way to prepare it! I made a quick one here to go with crispy chicken and green fried rice ( from Giada's new cookbook) and it was ready super fast and absolutely delicious!


  • 1 bunch of kale, stems removed and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup of Brussels sprouts
  • 2-3 medium carrots, peeled
  • 1/2 green cabbage
  • 1/2 cup of fresh cilantro
  • 1/3 cup of sliced roasted almonds
  • 2 tbs pof sesame seeds
  • Vinaigrette: 1 tsp of grated ginger, 1/2 tsp of turmeric, 1 lime, 2 tbsp of rice vinegar, 1 tsp of sesame oil, 2 tbsp of soy sauce


Finely chop the kale, Brussels sprouts, cabbage and carrots. Transfer to a large serving bowl and add the cilantro.

In a jar combine all the ingredients for the dressing and shake vigorously until emulsified. Toss with the salae and add the almonds and sesame seeds.
