BLT lobster salad

This is an easy, festive and delicious salad. You can buy lobster meat already cooked or simply boil lobster tales (1 minute per ounce in simmering water). You can leave the lobster out but I think that it really elevates this dish.


  • 2-3 little gem lettuce heads
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes
  • 5 slices of turkey bacon, cooked
  • 3 eggs, boiled
  • 3 medium lobster tales, cooked an chopped
  • 1 avocado
  • Dressing: 1 tbsp of dijon mustard, 2 tbsp of white wine vinegar, 1 tbs pof maple syrup, 2 tbs pof chives, 1/4 cup of olive oil, salt and pepper


Wash and chop the lettuces. Cut the cooked turkey bacon into small squares. Chop the tomatoes in 2 and do the same with the hard boiled eggs.

Remove the lobster from their tales once cooked and cut into bite size pieces. Peel the avocado, and cut into small cubes.

Make the dressing by whisking all the ingredients together.

Assemble all the ingredients onto a large plate (or into a bowl) and drizzle the vinaigrette. I like keeping them separate as it makes a more beautiful presentation but feel free to toss it all before bringing to the table.
