I love fresh fruits tarts in the summer, I like it even better when it is as easy as this one to prepare.

My grandpa had a fruit and veggie garden and when my brother and I would go to his place on week-ends we would help him pick up the fruits.
We would off course eat half of it. He taught me to bake so many different kind of fresh fruits tarts …I think that blueberry was one of my favorite, I found it so funny to have purple teeth because I ate too much of it!


  • 1 store bought pie shell
  • 4 cups of blueberries and blackberries
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • 3 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced


Combine the berries and the flour and toss. Add the lemon zest, juice and maple syrup.

Pour it in the pie dough and bake for 1 hour at 400F.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or fresh homemade whip cream.
