I grew up with my mom and grand-ma making jams all the time and it was so yummy and delicious but so sugary!!! I've stayed away from knowing how much added sugar there is these until now! This raspberry chia seeds jam is exactly what I've been looking for!!!

  • 3 cups of raspberries
  • 2 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1 -2 tbsp of water
  • 1-2 tbsp of maple syrup (only if fruits are not sweet enough)
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Cook the fruit on medium with the water, maple syrup and vanilla for 5-7 minutes. Mash with a fork, add the chia seeds and keep on cooking for another 5-10 minutes.

Transfer to a jar and enjoy on top of ice cream, yogurt, granola, oatmeal or simply on a toast!!!

I kept mine for 10 days. I is so easy to make and takes very little time that is is worth making a fresh new batch every other week.
