With figs in season right now, this dessert is the bomb!! I don't have much time for baking so I always buy my pie dough ( except fro Thanksgiving!), but it is so easy to find good quality and delicious pie dough that it is totally fine.

Preheat the oven at 400F.
Cut the small stem of the figs and rinse them. Cut them into 4 and toss gently with the maple syrup and lemon juice.
Place the dough on a lined baking sheet and arrange the figs all over, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
Fold the borders of the dough towards the center. Brush borders, with milk and sprinkle with the sugar.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the crust look golden brown.
Enjoy with a scoop of ice cream of whipped cream.
