This is very similar to my shrimps' recipe I made last week. Since it was so successful with the kids and super easy I thought I could try it with chicken as well and it turned out delicious!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium chicken breasts
  • 2 garlic cloves (or 2 tsp of garlic granules)
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1 pinch of chili flakes
  • 2 head of broccoli, washed and cut into florets
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and peper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds, cilantro

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400F.

Mix together the soy sauce, honey, crushed garlic and chili flakes. Cut the chicken breasts into bite size and toss with the marinade. Leave to rest for at least 15 minutes.

On a large lined baking sheet, add the broccoli and drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper and make sure everything is coated.

Add the chicken on the other end of the baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and inside temperature is 165F (I tossed both the chicken and veggies halfway though).

I ie sprinkling some sesame seeds on top and add some chopped cilantro as well.
