This 5 minutes chicken is full of flavor, It could also be prepared in the slow cooker on low setting for 4-5 hours.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb of chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 tsp of sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp of miso paste
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp of grated ginger
  • 2 tsp of cornstarch
  • 2-3 tsp of water

Directions

Toss the chicken with all the ingredients except the cornstarch and water and set aside.

Mix the cornstarch and water until super smooth and add to the chicken. Transfer it all to instant pot and cook on pressure cooking for 5 minutes. Release the steam and enjoy.

    You need a cup of water for an instant pot recipe. I will try that but I’m wondering if it will be too diluted.

      the pressure cooker creates a lot of steam and vapor so it adds “water’ to the recipe. Plus there is the soy sauce and other condiments that are also liquids. You can try with one cup but this one works like this, I have tested it many times
