I love a good fresh baguette with butter on it, especially when we eat soup for dinner! I always end up adding some kind of salt and /or spices on top of the butter. So I thought why not make a spiced butter and see how that turns out! Well, since I am sharing the recipe, it usually means that we loved it! I am explaining how I did here but feel free to be adventurous and try different spices and herbs!


  • 1 stick of butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp of garlic granules
  • 1/4 tsp of onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp of fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp of fresh basil
  • 1/8 tp sof dried oregano
  • 1/4 tps of ground black pepper


Chop the fresh herbs super finely and combine everything into a bowl. Mix until you get a soft homogenous mix.

Transfer to a small container and keep in the fridge until ready to eat. It will last for a while on the fridge!
