Lemon butter caccio peppe ravioli

Easiest dinner ever.... And so yummy!


  • 2 pack of store bought ravioli ( from refrigerated section)
  • 2-3 tbsp of butter
  • 1/2 cup of freshly grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 cup of pasta water


Cook the ravioli according to packaging instructions. Don't forget to reserve 1 cup of the water.

Once the ravioli are cooked, drain them. In the same spot melt the butter with half of the water, the lemon zest and juice, the pepper and whisk. Toss the ravioli back in and add the cheese mixing gently. Taste and if too dry add a bit more of the water. Serve right away and add a bit more cracked pepper and cheese.
