Mixed berries Oatmeal

Oatmeal is one of my go to breakfast! It keeps me satisfied until lunch time, it tastes delicious and I love adding toppings and so do the kids!
Cook the berries with 1/2 cup of water for a couple of minutes until mushy.
Add the oats, the rest of the water and the milk and bring to a boil. Lower and simmer until oats are soft and consistency gets thicker. Feel free to add more or less milk depending on how you like your oatmeal.
Serve in bowls and add some maple syrup, some walnuts (or other kind of nuts) bits, fresh blueberries, almond butter and enjoy!
Make sure to keep extra on the fridge for a snack or next day breakfast!
