Makes 6-8 mini napoleons

I am simplifying this dessert here by using store bought puff pastry and whipped cream instead of pastry creme. Peaches are so sweet and delicious right now that they go perfectly well in this dessert... You can use any fruit that you like if you want to mix it up.


  • 2 sheets puff pastry, store bought thawed
  • 1-2 peach, ripe
  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • Powder sugar


Preheat the oven at 400F.

Using  a round cookie cutter, cut 12-16 circles in the puff pastry dough. Place them on a lined baking sheet. Mix 1 tbsp of the maple syrup with the cinnamon and brush the dough with it. Bake for 10-15 minutes until puffed up an golden brown. Leave to cool completely.

Using a hand mixer, whip the cream until stiff peaks and add the vanilla and remaining tbsp of maple syrup.

Cut the peaches into thin slices.

When the pastry is completely cool, layer it with whipped cream and peaches. You can make single or doubles or even triple layers.... Sprinkle some powder sugar on top to give it a nice finish. This is a super easy dessert that will impress everyone as if it came out of a french patisserie.
