Makes 1 brownie cake

This was a test, since my daughter is gluten free, I really try to come up with delicious and healthy cakes, which is not always easy. I attempted this for her since she was craving pumpkin cake and brownies as well and it turned out delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup of coconut flour (or other GF flour)
  • 3 eggs (room temp)
  • 1/2 cup of coconut sugar
  • 4 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 1 cup of pumpkin purée
  • 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spices
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp of baking soda

Directions

Preheat the oven at 350F.

Place all the ingredients (except the choc chips) in the food processor and pulse until smooth and nicely combined. When don, mix in the chocolate chips

Line a 8-inch square pan and pour in the batter.

Bake for 20-22 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
