Simple Turkey Meatballs

Sometimes simplicity is best! Here I added some pears to give a sweetness, turned out delicious!


  • 1 lb of ground turkey
  • 1 pear, grated
  • 1 tsp of fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • Avocado oil


Combine the turkey with the pear, thyme, 1 tsp of slat and 1/2 tsp pepper and mix with a from until combined nicely.

Form 1 inch thick meatballs, it should make 12 to 15 of them. Heat up the avocado oil and cook the meatball until golden brown on each side and cooked through, 5 to 7 minutes.

These are great with a nice coleslaw or rice, or in a lunch box, or even if you make bigger patties as turkey burgers!
