These are super yummy, just throw it all in slow cooker and let it do the work. The meatballs will cook in the sauce and be really tasty, tender and so flavorful!

  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp of grated parmesan
  • 2 tbsp of bread crumbs ( optional)
  • 2 tbsp of chopped parsley
  • 2 small onions, minced
  • 1 (36oz) jar of tomato sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bunch Basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper

Mix together the beef, the egg, the parmesan, the breadcrumbs, 1 of the onion and the parsley. Once it is combined, scoop some of the meat to make the meatballs. It should make 12 -15 meatballs.

In your slow cooker, place the other onion, the garlic, the tomato sauce, the bay leaf, the basil, 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of pepper. Set on high for 4 hours and gently place the meatballs in the sauce.

Once it is cooked, serve with rice, pasta, mash potatoes or even on its own.
