I grew up eating fish all the time. To this day if I have the choice on the menu or at home, I will go for fish.... Since I moved to LA, salmon became one of my favorite fish... I always try to come up with different versions because I do not want my family to get tired with it.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb of fresh salmon filet ( I like it in one piece for here)
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt

Directions

Preheat the oven at 275 F. Let the salmon out of the fridge at room temperature until you are ready to cook it.

Pat dry it and place it on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and pour the lime juice all over. Sprinkle the zest, garlic salt, chili flakes, salt and pepper and cook for 18-20 minutes.

There is something about cooking salmon at a low temperature that makes it so tender and moist!
