Makes 2 cups

Hummus with crudités and crackers is my go to snack.... I like it creamy, no garlic and a bit lemony but more importantly it has to be be really smooth!!!


  • 1 16oz can of chickpeas (keep the liquid)
  • 5 tbsp of tahini
  • 1 large lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/2 tps of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of lemony white pepper
  • Toppings: pomegranate, black sesame seeds, cauliflower "breadcrumbs", flaky salt
  • Assorted crudités and crackers


Put the chickpeas AND liquid in a blender, with all the ingredients ( except the toppings, crudités and crackers). Puree until really smooth a creamy. Taste and adapt seasoning if necessary.

Transfer to a bowl and top with some pomegranate, black sesame seeds and cauliflower "breadcrumbs" and flaky salt ( or whatever you feel like, but this combination really works).

Enjoy with some crudités or your favorite crackers.
