This is a super easy summer side dish. You need to be in tomato season otherwise it has zero flavor. When the tomatoes are ripe and beautiful, it really brings something to a summer lunch or dinner al fresco!

Ingredients

  • 3 large heirloom tomato (whatever color you can find)
  • 2-3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 10-12 fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup of Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1-2 tsp of balsamic glaze ( the thick one not the vinegar)
  • 1/4 cup of toasted pine nuts
  • Flaky salt and ground pepper

Directions

Thinly slice the tomatoes with a serenade knife and arrange on a serving platter.

Drizzle the olive oil, the fresh herbs and pine nuts. Finish with the balsamic glaze some flaky salt and pepper.

And done, how easy is that?!
