Tomato Shrimps

My kids love shrimps, and I always keep some in the freezer as they make a delicious meal put together in less than 10 minutes. Tacos, in a salad or sautéed like here, options are varied! Serve it with rice, quinoa, couscous, pasta or even on its own... I added some steamed spinach on the side!


  • 20 medium shrimps, frozen thawed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in 2
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bunch basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


Sauté the garlic with the olive oil for 2 minutes. Add the shrimps and cook until it starts to get golden then add the tomatoes and simmer for another 5-7 minutes. Add some salt and pepper to taste and serve with some fresh chopped basil on top.
