This is as easy sit gets for a speedy dinner. All you need to do is assemble and add flavor!

  • 5 cups of broth, veggie or chicken either work (store bought)
  • 1 1-2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2 1/2 tbsp of white miso
  • 20-25 wonton ( I am using veggies but any will do)
  • Toppings. green onions, cilantro, Japanese seasoning
  • Proteins options: small cubes of tofu, cooked chicken, sausages, beef, pork,...
  • More veggies: corn, edamame, spinach, mushrooms, kale,...

Bring the broth to a boil with the ginger, garlic and miso paste, lower a bit while you are cooking the wontons.

Heat up 2 tbsp of avocado oil and cook the wontons on each sides for 2-3 minutes covered. This way they will get crisp on the outside but cook inside as well. You could also cook them directly in the broth for 6-7 minutes, I just like it better this way.

Serve 1 cup of broth perp person with 4-5 wonton as well. Sprinkle some green onions, cilantro and Japanese seasoning and enjoy!
